    Admissions Officer

    £24,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience

    Closing date: 28th February 2026


    We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, and experienced administrator to join a busy Admissions Office, delivering a service to support the recruitment of the best-qualified students to the University.

    The successful candidate will have significant knowledge and experience of working within higher education student admissions - they will be familiar with the UCAS system and the UCAS tariff in addition to a background in European and International Qualifications – preferably with experience of HESA and inputting data related to entry qualifications.

    All applicants must be qualified to undergraduate level or above with desired experience of working in the higher education industry.

    Applicants will be expected to work on campus. Admissions will be primarily based at our UGM Manchester location, previously known as the University of Bolton Manchester:

    - Base Building, Greenheys Lane, Manchester, M15 6LR

    Associate Lecturer – Computing

     

    Post: Associate Lecturer – Computing

    Hours: Sessional Post, Fixed-Term, May-Aug 2026, between 6 - 18 hours per week

    Salary: Competitive

    Location: Manchester

    UGM Manchester is a higher education provider in the heart of Manchester, with a focus on high quality teaching and assessment, and an inclusive, business-like culture. We are as much a leadership school as a business school. We are looking to recruit high quality, highly motivated lecturers with a strong background in practice to match their academic qualifications who are available to teach during the summer trimester in 2026.

    We are looking for associate lecturers in Computing with utility across a range of key areas such as Computing Principles, Cyber-Security, Programming, etc. We are especially interested in receiving applications from those from industry and commerce looking to start a new career in higher education. Our ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of the wider business and technology environment, and will be outstanding lecturers. They will be passionate about improving the life-chances of our students, and have a deep interest in information technology.

    Successful candidates will work from our building on Manchester Science Park. All staff are required to teach face-to-face, but may occasionally be required to teach online, so familiarity with online delivery, and Zoom in particular, will be an advantage.

    Salaries are competitive and based on candidates' qualifications, experience, and utility. Fellowship of the HEA or an undertaking to achieving this will also be an advantage. You will be qualified to Master’s degree level. Associate contracts are offered on a fixed-term trimesterly basis. We operate three trimesters per academic year. Candidates must have an unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom without caveat.

They will be passionate about improving the life-chances of our students, and have a deep interest in their discipline. Membership of ACCA will be an advantage.

    Associate Lecturer - Health and Social Care with Academic Skills

    Location: Manchester

    Hours: Sessional – Up to 18 hours per week on recurring fixed-term contracts

    UGM Manchester is an exciting new higher education provider in the heart of Manchester, with a focus on high quality teaching and assessment, and an inclusive, business-like culture. As we expand our range of undergraduate programmes, we are looking to recruit high-quality, highly-motivated associate lecturers with a strong background in practice to match their academic qualifications. We are looking for lecturers in Health and Social Care with utility across a range of key topics, including Anatomy and Physiology, Safeguarding, Lifespan Development, Comparative Healthcare Systems, etc. Lecturers are also expected to assist students with the development of basic academic skills.

    We are especially interested in Health and Social Care professionals looking to start a new career in higher education. Our ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of the sector and will be outstanding lecturers. They will be passionate about improving the life-chances of our students and will have a deep interest in the Health and Social Care sector.

    Successful candidates will work from our building at Manchester Science Park. All staff are required to teach face-to-face, but may occasionally be required to teach online, so familiarity with online delivery, and Zoom in particular, will be an advantage.

    Salaries are competitive and based on candidates' qualifications, experience, and utility. Fellowship of the HEA or an undertaking to achieving this will be an advantage. You will be articulate, and qualified to Bachelor’s degree level as a minimum. Masters level education and professional status/accreditation will also be an advantage. Associate contracts are offered on a fixed-term trimesterly basis. We operate three trimesters per academic year.
