At UGM Manchester, we want your time here to be an enjoyable and positive experience. We recognise, however, that from time to time students may experience challenges relating to their health, wellbeing, or personal circumstances.
Our Wellbeing team offers two types of support: the Life & Progress Service and the Counselling Service.
Life & Progress
Our Life & Progress Service is here to support you with any challenges that may be affecting your studies, personal life, or overall wellbeing. We will listen to your concerns and work with you to identify appropriate support and practical next steps to help you move forward.
Support is available for a wide range of issues, including stress and anxiety, mental health and wellbeing, financial or housing concerns, relationship difficulties, and managing life events alongside your studies.
You can access the Life & Progress Service at any time, with support available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, both online and over the telephone. The service will help you access the right level of support, including counselling or specialist advice where appropriate.
